The EduLead Leaders in Transition program provides inexperienced leaders with the knowledge, skills and courage needed to become leaders of change who make teaching and learning a priority in their schools.

Leaders in Transition is a residential leadership institute designed as professional development for early career school leaders (newly assigned principals and principals serving challenging and hard-to-staff schools) as they plan for success for the coming school year.

Leaders in Transition Summer Institute benefits from the significant participation of EduLead's partner school divisions: the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico and the City of Richmond. Participants are also fortunate to reap the expertise of knowledgeable presenters and facilitators who represent partner school divisions, EduLead coaches, corporate exemplars, state department experts and leaders in education and professional development throughout Virginia.
